I'm Kate. I will always be a physicist, although it might not be my official job title any longer. My research work was in the field of continuous variable quantum optics. I published a few papers.

My work now focuses on the use of data to reduce ignorance. This encompasses anything from reports on a Twitter scraping analysis, to building an entire app to help citizens follow legislation.
